Marinka & Ryan’s | Beach Wedding

February 15th, 2012

It’s been a while since I last blogged… So many things going on, it sure is the silly season at the moment if you’re in the wedding industry.

The past couple of months have been crazy busy…I’ve been all over Victoria, no time to rest..Still five months to go before I can relax..

This weekend it was sunny Balnarring Beach.  It was Marinka and Ryan’s day. You could not have asked for a more perfect day.

If you are after an amazing wedding planner or coordinator be sure to check out Kate Adkins at www.eventsbykate.com.au she is amazing…

Thanks to Marinka and Ryan and the whole bridal party for being so wonderful on the day…

Time to relax | Thailand adventure

January 9th, 2012

As the year was winding up I was hoping to be able to get some down time to relax and re charge the batteries for the following year… I’m so incredibly lucky to be where I am today and I don’t for one second take anything that I have in my life for granted. I’m very grateful for being given the amazing opportunities throughout the year. I do what I do everyday not because I get paid, but because I love what I do.

I had the most amazing 2 weeks off and I was taking photos every single day. Not because I was getting paid, but simply because I love taking photos…There is no better feeling to a photographer….

So the adventure started here in Melbourne and it took us over to Thailand and Malaysia. So many great memories, all of which I got to share with my best friend and the one I love the most…

This year is already in full swing, I’m fully charged ready to go… 2012 is going to be the most special year in my life…

Caroline and Clive | Married Port Phillip Estate Red Hill

December 16th, 2011

I met up with Caroline and Clive well over 12 months prior to their wedding… I knew straight away how much fun we were going to have.

I find myself falling in love with Port Phillip Estate every time I’m there, whether it be for a wedding or advertising… It’s just got this vibe and feel that I can’t explain.

From the moment you walk up to those huge solid wood doors, your’e literally blown away with the panoramic views once inside.

Do yourself a favour if your’e in the area, stop in for lunch or have a sneaky glass of red… I can highly recommend this property to anyone that has a finer appreciation for great food and beautiful wine.

To the bridal party, we had FUN, in fact going through the photos I found myself re living the entire day again… So many laughs along the way…

So heres my take on Caroline and Clive’s wedding day at Port Phillip Estate in Red Hill.

Enjoy qm

It was the 10th day of December and Stacy and Matt got to celebrate their wedding day with close family and friends…

The weather was iffy, we could see plenty of dark clouds on the horizon, the decision was made and what a GREAT decision is was!!!

Its been a busy year, lots of weddings and next year is looking even busier…

Only 2 weddings to go for the year before I get to go away and re charge the batteries for another exciting year… Thank you Stacy and Matt for inviting me into your family and friends to share your special day..

Donna and Robby | Married Lindenderry Estate Red Hill

December 1st, 2011

So Melbourne weather….Sunny and hot one moment, then rain, and the occaional thunderstorm the next…

Donna had her heart set on a gorgeous outside wedding… But it wasn’t to be. The rain had pretty well set in for the most part of the day and afternoon.

I heard something very very important during this wedding… Robby told Donna that even if they get married INSIDE his still going to LOVE her just as much!

You see the ceremony part of the wedding day is by no means any less important than any other part, regardless of where it’s taking place, the MOST important thing is that you and the people closest to you are there to share in the most special day of your lives…

Donna and Robby are PROOF the regardless of what the weather is doing you can still have a magical day..

Donna and Robby you have a wonderful family, Liam is gorgeous…

Sit back and relax and come on their journey down at Red Hill..

This is what you do when the weather turns fowl during your wedding day….

Smile, laugh, have fun…

After all there is nothing else you can do…

Enjoy the day for what it is, regardless of a grey sky, or blue… Put on a smile you’re with the person who loves YOU!!!
